Lambton Children’s Safety Village
The Lambton Children’s Safety Village is a non-profit organization of local citizens concerned about safety education for elementary school children and a broad demographic of community citizens. Thanks to a generous donation of land by the Township of St. Clair, a site for construction south of the municipal building in Mooretown will compliment the existing community centre with a new lively amenity. The Safety Village will include a 10,000 sf multi-purpose education building including a miniature village where safety in various urban, rural, and specific conditions can be demonstrated, new public library branch, and various room configurations for community meetings.
